About Our Deparment

Welcome To Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Biomedical Engineering was started in the year 2004 offering a B.Tech degree in Biomedical Engineering. The biomedical engineering is a field that integrates Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to find solution for medical related problems. The demand of engineers with background in biology and medicine is growing rapidly. The biomedical engineers play key role in designing and developing new medical instruments, deploying the emerging information infrastructure, creating new biomaterials and medical desires. Biomedical engineers are highly valued by new companies capitalizing on the revolution of the applications of advanced computers to biomedical problems. Students with biomedical engineering degree will find rewarding careers in health care industries, hospitals, medical schools and research institutions. Know More

Curriculum and Syllabus – Regulation 2014
  • Student Projects

Biomedical Engineering is a course which gives the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. By these concepts and principles we can close the gap between medicine and engineering fields. It combines the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical & biological sciences. In the end result we can advance the healthcare treatment which includes diagnosis, monitoring and therapy.
