ALUMNI MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Any graduate or post-graduate from the engineering college is eligible to become a member of the alumni association.
- Former faculty members, staff, or any other significant contributors to the college can also be considered for honorary membership.
2. Application Process
- Online Registration: Set up an online portal or form on the alumni association website where interested alumni can fill in their details (e.g., name, graduation year, course, contact information, current profession).
- Offline Registration: Alternatively, allow alumni to register through physical forms available at alumni events or through postal mail if needed.
3. Membership Fees
- Lifetime Membership: Offer a one-time fee for lifetime membership to encourage long-term engagement.
- Annual Membership: Provide the option for alumni to pay an annual membership fee if they prefer not to commit to a lifetime membership.
4. Documentation and Verification
- Request proof of graduation, such as a degree certificate or college-issued ID, to verify eligibility.
- Ensure all details are cross-checked with the college records to maintain accurate membership.
5. Membership Renewal & Updates
- For annual members, provide reminders for membership renewal before the expiration date.
- Encourage members to keep their contact details updated to ensure they don’t miss out on important information or events.
