The course curriculum prepares the students to meet the challenges of future technologies. The course is backed by the state-of-art laboratories and equipments. The students are introduced to the wide choice of material, selection criteria, design of machines and mechanisms, computer system and package AutoCAD 2008, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), Pro-E and the production processes. Attention is paid in training the students to operate the machines and systems independently with a team of highly qualified Faculty specialized in Thermal, Design, Production, Energy and Industrial Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), one of the National level Advisory body for management of technical education in the country and affiliated to Pondicherry University.
